I’m currently working as a User Interface Designer for an online jobs network. I have been involved in designing the interaction, user experience and user interface of the desktop and mobile app for businesses and jobseekers. Previously, I was working part-time as an Interaction Designer after re-entering the workforce from maternity leave. I spend my days off singing nursery rhymes, making play-doh, baking finger foods and playing peek-a-boo.
Before having a child and moving to Australia from Canada, I was a Senior Designer for a crowd–sourced stock media web site involved in the user interface design, marketing collateral design and digital communication design.
I have an interest in furthering into User Experience Design and last year I completed the UXD course with General Assembly. I also have a passion for making photos, collecting treasures and researching design trends in web, print, fashion and interior design. I'm inspired by patterns on plates, art deco clocks, vintage souvenirs and found photos.
